and refined a process of cold-working aluminum that sets the standard
in the industry. TaperWall technology infuses our tubing
with the unique performance characteristics revered by cycling enthusiasts
and world-class athletes alike. Our computer-modulated draw benches
allow us to create multiple tapers in the same tube, so the tube
walls can be reinforced anywhere along their length with incredible
precision. The result is jeweler-smooth walls that eliminate the
stress points typical of other manufacturer’s
tubing. Strength, weight, fatigue life, and responsiveness are all
enhanced.
Carbon TaperWall Technology (CT2)
Many
of the benefits of Easton’s TaperWall Technology are applied
to our carbon components. By varying the wall thicknesses in our
carbon layups we can precisely engineer the performance characteristics
of each component.
